Open House
We would like to invite you to our in-person MIS Open House, scheduled for Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at our Viernheim school (Walter-Gropius-Allee 3, Viernheim) for children in classes Preschool through 12.
We invite new families who are considering enrolling their child into our school, whether right away or in the future.
This event also offers our current MIS families further insight into their child's next stage of learning, whether they will soon transition into Primary, Secondary or our IB Diploma Program.
MIS families, please feel free to share this invitation with any families who might be interested in learning more about our wonderful school and community!
This afternoon gathering will primarily focus on the transitioning years (outlined below). That being said, teachers and staff will be on hand for any and all questions you might have! We are here to help!
Primary School
This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to come and see the next phase of their child’s academic journey as they transition from Pre-School to Grade 1, marking the beginning of their MIS Primary School experience.
Secondary School
We are also very excited to talk with parents of Grade 3 and Grade 4 students to offer additional visibility into the unique opportunities and adventures ahead in our Gymnasium.
Overall Curriculum
In addition, we will discuss our universal international curriculum, including Cambridge International and International Baccalaureate (IB) - both providing excellent academic and career opportunities.
The afternoon will include the following agenda:
- 4:15 pm - Arrivals
- 4:30 pm - A warm welcome from our Principal of Primary, Mrs. Erbach, and our Principal of Secondary, Mr. Bou-Hassan.
- 4:45 pm - Student Panel Q&A opportunity guests can ask the student panel any questions, and students of the relevant age group will be able to answer directly!
- 5:00 pm - Guests can ask questions of the teachers, as well as take a student-led tour of the classrooms and departments.
- 6:00 pm - Conclusion
Can Children Attend?
Yes, children are invited to attend as well.
