Ways to Give
Your Support Makes MIS and Our Global Citizen Outreach Possible
Every donation we receive helps us create a better future for our students and community at large. From education, to volunteering, to supporting a child who would otherwise not have the opportunity for higher-level learning.
We simply cannot have this scale of global impact without the help of people like you, and we truly appreciate your support.
MIS is able to offer these extraordinary experiences and learning opportunities because many parents, grandparents, alumni, current and former teachers and staff, and other friends of the school have given generously throughout our history.
Making a donation to MIS means that you are empowering the next generation of global leaders, creative thinkers and influencers. Every gift has a direct impact on our students, enabling them with the tools needed to become the leaders and givers of tomorrow.
Immediate Need: Emergency Roof Repair
Update (March 31, 2022): With your support, we have raised 38,500 € of our 60,000 € goal! A huge THANK YOU to the amazing people who have donated so far. We are truly grateful!
In January 2022, MIS discovered a water leak in the roof of our MIS Viernheim main entrance and classroom building.
Our team immediately went to work to locate the leak and minimize damage. Unfortunately, due to the age of the roof and general wear and tear over time, we discovered more water damage than we had hoped.
Not only did the water damage shut down one of our much needed classrooms located next to the science labs, but the estimated repair costs are near 60.000€.
We were able to adjust quickly so that this did not impact our students and their learning.
We are hopeful to get repairs done as quickly as possible, and are asking for help from those of you who are able.
You are such a generous and caring community, and we appreciate the continuous kindness that you provide in many different ways to support these children and their growth.
As an independent non for profit school, school fees cover operating costs only, and we rely on the help of donations to support significant building projects and repairs such as this one.
All donations to our Emergency Roof Fund are tax-deductible, and a receipt will be provided for this purpose.
Thank you MIS Friends and Families!
