The Metropolitan International School is the first "A Leader in Me School" in Germany. The School is a private, non profit, state accredited, full time Institution with an international Nursery, Kindergarten, Preschool, a Primary School and Secondary School. The Nursery, Kindergarten and Preschool consist of three campuses located in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Viernheim, right in the center of the Rhine-Neckar region. The Primary School and the Secondary School are located in Viernheim only. Metropolitan International School also has a Boarding School for 35 students in Birkenau.

The bilingual Primary School in Viernheim teaches its primary students the whole curriculum in English and German. Students get the ability to make daily usage of more than their native language.
The School in Viernheim offers its Secondary students the ability to graduate to international recognized examinations.
Recently refurbished, the Boarding School in Birkenau can now house 35 students.
The Viernheim school bus service will make sure that students get to the school and back home safely.

The curriculum is aligned to Cambridge International Examinations (AS & A Levels) to gain places at leading universities worldwide after successfully graduation.
The Metropolitan International School operates permanent exchange programs with Partner Schools worldwide, actually with the ITESM in Mexico.
